Dr. Stephanie Cortes received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Optometry degrees from Nova Southeastern University. She had the opportunity to intern at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL where she learned cutting edge medicine and technology. Following this, she was awarded a residency at Aran Eye Associates in Miami, FL where she focused on a specialty in Ocular Disease. As a resident, she coordinated and gave lectures to students & managed student interns.
She has also presented lectures on rare ocular diseases that have been included in Optometry continuing education seminars at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Cortes' core specialties include diseases of the eye and contact lens fittings. She hopes to continue to improve vision in any role she takes as an Optometrist. She is dedicated to her profession and treats her patients like "a part of the family."
